I think I must warn you: get your hot drink of choice before wandering through this wedding; you are going to be here a while. It is one of the most breathtaking mountain weddings I have seen. Beth and Tomu lined up a dream team for their Sundance wedding with the amazing Sara Winward of Honey of a Thousand Flowers doing the florals and Alixann Loosle documenting the day. I was fortunate enough to be able to work with this fabulous couple and their amazing team of creatives, headed up by Ashley Lloyd with Attention2Detail event planning. I posted their invitations here a little while back.
Rainy days can be stressful for couples who are planning outdoor ceremonies. They can also be the most stunning days to get married on, as was the case with Beth and Tomu. To me, it was the perfect day. Overcast skies, the delicious smell of rain and evergreens, the rich wood tones and soft shades of grey in the dresses. There was a lot of back and forth between Beth and Ashely, and lots of folks checking their iPhones for the latest weather updates. When four o’clock arrived, though, the final votes were cast and their beautiful wedding was set up on the lawn. They really couldn’t have asked for a more perfect afternoon.
