Ooh, time for another font round-up! These are always fun, and surprisingly, a bit hard; difficult because my favorites seem to change often, though there are those typefaces that I love no matter what, like Nautik. Because so many of you are making sweet valentines for your loves, I thought it quite necessary to give you a starting point to make your love notes pretty. As an extra treat, (tomorrow) I’m giving you some printable Valentine’s Day cards that you can add your own sweet message to…an easy way to test out some of these pretty letters.
Contribute | Nautik | Mardian | Little Lord Fontleroy | Cursif | Matchbook | Castro Script
(Please note that most of these fonts are free for personal use only.)
Thanks for the recommendations! Always love your choice of fonts:)
Thank you! Just what I was looking for to help with my creative projects. I found this via Pinterest and am so glad I did. I just went on a free font shopping spree.
Free font shopping sprees are the best 😉

Thank you for all your work.
Are these fonts available for monogramming?
You’d have to check each fonts terms of use, but I would imagine that if you are using them for personal items, and not for re-sale, then you’d be okay. Are you working on a fun project?
Thanks for that info Nikkol…………………..Yes it’s a fun project. I’m making the bedding for my granddaughter who will be born next month!
Nice fonts!
I was looking for some new ones for my current project : D
Also, good recommendations!

I love your fonts and am new to the font thing. I don’t understand how to download these. Can you help?
Welcome! Click on the link for the font you’d like to download, it will take you to a different website where you can download the font. Some sites are a little tricky. Which site/font are you having trouble with?
Thank you so much for sharing. I found my wedding invite font thanks to you!!
So happy to hear that! Thanks for visiting.
Thank you!
HI! great article, LOVE the fonts! I was wondering (this may be a dumb question) but what is the font you use below each of the fonts? (the one that says the name of the font?) thanks.
Not a dumb question at all! The font is Orator and can be found here: http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/adobe/orator/
Thanks for stopping by!
HI! great article
Hi! I love these fonts. But once you click the download button, how do I save the font to my computer and then put it in word? Sorry if this is a dumb question!
No question is dumb 😉 I use a Mac, and it’s super easy. Just open Font Book, click the “+” sign, double click the font file, and you are good to go. If you are on a pc, I do not know, but this is a good tutorial: http://www.fontspring.com/support/installing/how-do-i-install-fonts-on-my-windows-pc
Thanks for all the work in putting together these great fonts! I downloaded them all!
Can you tell me what font you used for the header in this blog? I really love the L!!! Please let me know, even if it was not free! Thanks!
Hi Laura! Thanks for stopping by. Are you looking for the font that “Peter Loves Jane” is in? If so, I hand lettered it. Thanks for your sweet words!
I really love the fonts you use on your website! Would you mind telling me what you use for BELOVED magazine headliner? and also the font you use for “Favorite Pretty Fonts” headliner?
I can’t wait to use these!
I really love the fonts, but I am unable to download them. Are they still available for free download?
THANKS HI! great article
