There is something about black and white photography that I simply adore. Sometimes I think it would be so lovely to see an entire wedding photographed with black and white film. That could be a little unsettling, perhaps, for the couple and photographer. I’m not a photographer, though, so I can’t really say. I just think it could be beautiful, like these photos of MarGee and Brady taken by the sweet Brittany Cascio of Cascio Photography. I had the pleasure of designing their invitation suite and day of paper goods. MarGee has great taste, as you can see, and took care with the way her invitations were presented. Each insert has a different vintage floral backing and mixed modern typographic styling with nods to the vintage era. I should mention that you’ll want to be sure to linger a bit and enjoy the gorgeous bouquet created by the talented ladies of Sego.
I thought this was a sweet idea, one of those that you hear about, but don’t actually know anyone who follows through with it. MarGee wrote a note to herself when she was just little that was to be opened on her wedding day. I wonder which of her childhood goals and dreams have been realized?
